Green Arrow Cycle Racing Team

We are a friendly and vibrant club, with a lively and enjoyable programme of events throughout the year. This includes an Open Grass Track Meeting in August with racing for riders of all ages, including some fun Go Ride events for young cyclists.

Green Arrow CRT is also affiliated to Cycling Time Trials.

We offer a varied programme of cycling experiences to our members; club rides include on and off-road rides, taking advantage of the quiet Hertfordshire lanes and the many byways and bridleways throughout the county. New members of any standard of fitness and experience are made very welcome.

Our traffic free Go Ride sessions for Youth riders take place at The Sele School, Welwyn Road, Hertford SG14 2DG on the school field on Tuesdays from mid-April to mid-September every year. New riders are welcome and do not need to be members of Green Arrow in order to take part.

During the winter we have club runs on Sundays whenever possible, depending on member availability. Our Sunday club runs may be on or off road rides and always have a friendly cafe stop part way through the ride.

From October to the end of March we run a general fitness training session on Tuesday evenings, in The Sele School's fitness suite; these sessions are not suitable for children under 11 years of age.

There is a fee for membership of Green Arrow and for participation in Summer Go Ride and Winter Fitness sessions. Club runs are, of course, free to enjoy.
